Notes:
1. Possibly the father of the Humphrey Yeo who married Eliza Bristow in the Exeter parish of St David in 1634.
2. Nicholas might have married Catheryne Rolstone at Christow in 1619. He baptised six children at St Mary Major between 1626 and 1634 and might be the Nicholas Yeo who paid poll tax in the Exeter parish of St David in 1660.
3. Baptisms recorded at St Mary Major, except for Elinor whose baptism record has not been found – she is mentioned in the will of her half brother William Yeo.
4. William was a cordwainer and was made a freeman of the city of Exeter in 1612. His will mentions his son William.
5. Baptisms recorded at St Mary Major, except for Thomas.
6. Thomas might later have married Susanna Pitt at Christow in 1655.
7. Thomas, Elizabeth and Mary are mentioned in their father’s will, proved 1660 by his widow Eleanor Yeo (referred to as Ellen in the will). There might have been another daughter Jane Yeo. The will refers to Elizabeth’s daughter, but does not name her.
8. Elizabeth might have married William Ware in the Exeter parish of St Mary Major in 1665.
