William Henry Yeo was born in Plymouth in 1842, the third of five children of Francis Yeo and Caroline George. He married Elizabeth Gould [note 1] in Plymouth 1875 and died there in 1904 [note 2].
William and Elizabeth had five children [note 3]:
– Catherine Mary Yeo (1877–1931, married George Hart Snell Ireland)
– Edith Emily Yeo (1879–1935, married John Joseph Valentine)
– William Francis Yeo (1881–1946, married Florence Quick)
– Annie Louisa Yeo (born 1883)
– Bessie Rosina Yeo (1887–1939, married Thomas Henry Goard).
