John Yeo, son of Francis Yeo and Lucy Young, was baptised at Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire in 1738. His line was researched by Sheila Yeo in 2018 with correspondent Philip Coward.
John’s parents were from south-west England. He returned there, and married Elizabeth Harvey at North Hill in 1765. Their eight children were baptised at North Hill:
– John Yeo (baptised 1766)
– Lucy Yeo (baptised 1768)

– Richard Yeo (1775–1851, married Mary Landrick, son Richard Landrick Yeo)
– William Yeo (see below)
– Peter Yeo (1780–1783)
– Peter Yeo (baptised 1784, married Elizabeth West, daughter Elizabeth Cosway Yeo).
Edward Yeo (1771–1832), son of John Yeo and Elizabeth Harvey, married Ann Broadlick at Antony in 1791. They had four children:
– Mary Ann Yeo (baptised 1791)
– John Yeo (see below)
– Elizabeth Yeo (1797–1798)
– Edward Yeo (see below).
William Yeo, son of John Yeo and Elizabeth Harvey, was baptised at North Hill in 1777. He married Mary Webb at East Stonehouse in 1798 and had four children:
– Elizabeth Yeo (baptised at Plympton St Mary in 1799)
– Francis Yeo (born c1800 [note 1], married Sarah Jordan, two children).
– Mary Yeo (baptised at Plymstock in 1803)
– William John Yeo (baptised at Stoke Damerel in 1805, married Mary Good there in 1838, son William Yeo).
John Yeo (son of Edward Yeo and Ann Broadlick) was baptised at Stoke Damerel in 1794. He married Mary Ann Saunders at East Stonehouse in 1817. They had nine children:

– William Sanders Yeo
– James Yeo (baptised 1828)
– Mary Ann Eliza Yeo (baptised 1829, married Henry Stevens)
– George Henry Yeo
– Emma Jane Yeo (1834–1908)

– Eliza Susanna Yeo (1839–1908, married Charles Barfoot).
Edward Yeo (1799–1870, son of Edward Yeo and Ann Broadlick), married Elizabeth Pappen at St Andrew, Plymouth in 1819. They baptised three daughters at Morice Street Wesleyan Chapel in Devonport:
– Ann Elizabeth Yeo (baptised 1820)
– Emma Caroline Yeo (1823–1915, married George Robson)
– Anna Yeo (1829–1890, married Samuel Richard Ford Thomas).
William John Yeo (son of William Yeo and Mary Webb) was baptised at Stoke Damerel in 1805 and married Mary Good there in 1838. They had six children:
– Mary Yeo (born 1838)
– Richard Yeo (1838–1839)
– Henry Yeo (1840–1845)
– Edward Yeo (see below)
– Richard Yeo (born 1843)
– Simon Yeo (1844–1845).
Peter William Yeo (1822–1889, son of John Yeo and Mary Ann Saunders [note 2]) married Catherine Luke; they had at least one daughter [note 3]:
– Mary Ann Elizabeth Yeo (born 1843).
Edward Yeo (1842–1917, son of William John Yeo and Mary Good) had six children with his wife Ann Ford:
– Mary Ann Yeo (1868–1937, married James Libby)
– Elizabeth Jane Yeo (1869–1946) [note 4]
– William Henry Yeo (1871–1956)
– Ellen Yeo (born 1873, married Charles Arthur Harris)
– John Yeo (1876–1951, married Bertha Clements)
– James Yeo (1879–1879).

2. Baptised as Edward Peter Francis Yeo and recorded as Peter Edward Yeo when he married in 1842. His baptism record was amended in 1842 to read Peter William Yeo.
