Corporal William Yoe of Barnstaple was discharged from the Devon Regiment in December 1816, suffering from chronic rheumatism.
His military record shows that he had served as an infantryman with the Regiment since October 1808 and had been promoted from Private to Corporal, but does not give his age, year of birth or next of kin.
