The Order of Australia

The Order of Australia was introduced in 1975 to replace the British awards system. It is awarded at various levels for outstanding service or exceptional achievement, and is presented on the monarch’s birthday or Australia Day.

It has been awarded to:
– Twenty-four people with the surname Yeo, including Charles Victor Yeo, Eileen Mary Yeo, Lady Elieen Theresa Yeo, Ernest Shapland Yeo and Linda Elizabeth Yeo
– One person with the surname Yea
– Two people with the surname Atyeo, including Leslie George Gibson Atyeo.
