Richard Yeo (1770–1810, son of Thomas Yeo and Thomazin Gale) was baptised at Inwardleigh [note 1]. He married Catherine Luxon at Northlew in 1776. They had five children:

– Thomasine Yeo (baptised 1803 at Lifton)
– William Yeo (see below)
– Ann Yeo (baptised 1808 at Lifton)
– Sarah Yeo (1808–1832).
John Yeo (baptised in 1797 at Northlew, son of Richard Yeo and Catherine Luxon) married Drew Ann Smale [note 2] at Beaworthy in 1829. They moved to Plymstock, where they had six children:
– William Yeo (baptised 1830, married Hannah Burnell) [note 3]
– Hannah Yeo (1831–1889, married Thomas Neate)
– John Emmanuel Yeo (see below)
– Harriet Yeo (1837–1882, married Cornelius Bacon)
– Emanuel Smale Yeo (1840–1879, married Elizabeth Palmer at Stoke Damerel in 1867)
– Henry Dovell Yeo (see below).
William Yeo (baptised 1805 at Lifton, son of Richard Yeo and Catherine Luxon) married Sarah Milford at Lifton in 1827. They baptised three children at nearby Stowford:
– Richard Yeo (baptised 1829, married Ellen Carter)
– Henry Yeo (baptised 1831, married Catherine Billing)
– Charlotte Yeo (1833–1838).
Sarah died in 1837. William married Sarah Morgan in 1840 [note 4]. There were eleven children from this second marriage:
– Elizabeth Jane Yeo (1843–1922, married Thomas Saville 1872 in London)
– Ann Ellen Yeo (1845–1896, married Augustus Hutt Crabbe)
– Mary Maria Yeo (1847–1911)
– Eliza Charlotte Yeo (1849–1914, married James Peake)
– Sarah Selina Yeo (1854–1855)
– Sarah Selina Yeo (1856–1859)
– Esther Anna Yeo (1858–1933 [note 5], married John Bickle)
– Henry Yeo
– Josephus Yeo (1860–1912, emigrated to the United States, married Lou Ella Patterson)
– Sarah Selina Yeo (1863–1952, married Charles Thompson)
– Michael Yeo (1866–1946, married Elizabeth Ann Brimacombe).
John Emmanuel Yeo (baptised 1834 [note 6], son of John Yeo and Drew Ann Smale) married Maria Ash at the parish church of Charles the Martyr, Plymouth in 1855. They had four children:
– Emily Ellen Yeo (1856–1867)
– John Emmanuel Yeo (see below)
– William Henry Yeo (born 1862)
– Henry Dovel Smale Yeo (born 1864).
Henry Dovell Yeo (1843–1899, son of John Yeo and Drew Ann Smale) married Elizabeth Ann Buchannan at East Meon in Hampshire in 1866. They had three children:
– Alfred Dovell Yeo (1867–1925, emigrated to the United States, married Theresa Kassel in New York in 1890, ten children including Vincent Henry Yeo, 1891–1953)
– Emma Jessie Yeo (born 1870, married Thomas Joseph Cafferky in Staffordshire in 1898)
– Henry Thomas Dovell Yeo (1872–1952).
John Emmanuel Yeo (1858–1933, son of John Emmanuel Yeo and Maria Ash) married Martha Lucretia Gordon Hall. The births of their three children were registered at East Stonehouse:
– Emily Helen Yeo (1879–1970, married Samuel Macey)
– Harold Henry Yeo (1881–1885)
– Samuel John Yeo (1883–1968, married Kara Chubb).

4. Married at the parish church in Merstham, Surrey. Some researchers record their emigration to Australia on the SS Lincolnshire in 1863, but this is incorrect as the birth of their son Michael was registered in England.
