John Yeo, a descendant of Philip Yeo and Margaret Bond of North Tamerton, was born at Kilkhampton in 1838. He married Mary Ann Tucker, with whom he had two children before emigrating to Ontario:
– Florence Maria Yeo (1858–1947)
– Elizabeth Emily Yeo (1864–1941, married Ezra Haskill)
– Richard Henry Yeo (born 1868)
and two more children after they emigrated:
– William John Yeo (1869–1948, married Evylena Culbert, one son)
– Ada Melinda Yeo (1873–1971, married George Henry Wickett).
