Arthur is shown on their marriage certificate as a bachelor, a civil servant of 25 Sheepcote Road, Harrow, son of Arthur John Yeo, a retired licensed victualler [note 1]. Elsie was a spinster, daughter of licensed victualler Frederick Fripp. They had two sons [note 2].
Oswald Arthur Thomas Yeo (1889–1967) was the only son of Arthur John Yeo and Elizabeth Brewer, who married in Chelsea in 1888.
Arthur John Yeo (1861–1939) was the youngest son of James Yeo and Mary Anne Wimshurst. The 1939 Register lists them in Twickenham, at 43 Park Road, with Arthur’s occupation recorded as an executive officer in the Civil Service.
