The Western Times for 3 November 1933 reported the marriage of this couple the previous week at the parish church in Chagford. The groom is described as the ‘only surviving son of Mrs. H. Cox, of New-road, Okehampton, and the late Mr. H. Graham-Johnson, of Bromley, Kent’.
Lilian was the daughter of Edwin James Yeo and Mabel Elizabeth Pike – she was born in 1907 and died in 2012. The groom’s stepsister Kathleen Cox was bridesmaid and Albany James Newcombe of Okehampton acted as best man.
