John Yeo (1843–1910, son of Robert Yeo and Ann Syms) was born at South Tawton. He married Elizabeth Crout [note 1] at Moretonhampstead in 1865. They had ten children, the first two born at Moretonhampstead:

and the remaining eight born after they moved to Holcombe Burnell:
– Alice Louisa Yeo (born 1870, married Edwin Ellis) [note 3]

– Elizabeth Ann Yeo (1876–1945, married William John Howe)
– Bessie Yeo (born 1877)
– Ellen Yeo (1878–1951, married Richard Law Gibson) [note 5]
– Charles Yeo (born 1880, married Kathleen James)
– Jessie Melina Yeo (1884–1951, married her brother-in-law Alfred Alexander Bulley)
– William James Yeo (1886–1918 [note 6], married Margaret Ann Moore in Swansea in 1909, two children).

– Arthur James Yeo (1905–1993, married Isabel Jean Selley)
– Edward George Yeo (1910–1999, married Emily Annie Stoyle).
Henry Yeo (1872–1949, son of John Yeo and Elizabeth Crout) married Alice Lee in 1894. They had eight children:
– John Henry Yeo (1896–1916) [note 7]
– Bessie Yeo (1896–1975, married John Paul Bilski, emigrated to New Zealand)
– Fred Yeo (1897–1970, moved to Northern Ireland, married Minnie Coffey, one daughter)
– Frank Yeo (see below)
– Elizabeth May Yeo (1907–1966, married John Ball)
– Charles Yeo (1908–1949)
– George Yeo (1911–1937)
– Alice Yeo (born 1915 at Stokeinteignhead).
Frank Yeo (1900–1957, son of Henry Yeo and Alice Lee) was born at Christow. He married Edith Partridge; they had three sons:
– Francis Charles Henry Yeo (1927–1987, married Hilary Veronica Maisie Cann)
– Maurice George Yeo (1932–1972, married Veronica Mary Harrison)
– Reg Yeo (1939–1941).

3. Edwin and Alice’s daughter Mabel Louise Mudge née Ellis (1895–1996) was licensee of the Drewe Arms at Drewsteignton for 75 years.
4. Alfred later married Susan’s sister Jessie Melina Yeo. His brother Walter Charles Bulley married Emily Jane Yeo in 1893.
