Notes
1. The 1911 census for the Army camp at Bullford in Wiltshire records 31-year-old Ellen Yeo with her children Ellen Elizabeth (age 12), Henry James (10), Alfred Edward (6), Dorothy May (4) and Florence Alice (3). Ellen’s husband Henry and their youngest daughter Hilda are not listed.
2. The 1939 Register lists Henry Arthur Yeo at 12 Gray Terrace, Pontypridd, though wrongly recorded as William A. Yeo. He is a widower and as an unemployed general labourer. Listed with him is his youngest son William S. Yeo, a gate end worker in a coal mine.
3. All Army registrations. Ellen died in 1933.
4. Did Alfred and Lilian also have a daughter Annie in 1920?
