Notes
1. Daughter of Thomas Yeo and Mary Manning. James’s birth certificate records his mother as Ann Yeo and gives no father’s name. His marriage certificate records his father as deceased mariner Thomas Yeo but there is no evidence that a Thomas Yeo was his father.
2. The 1939 Register for West Ham records Ernest at 6 Rickard Square, with his year of birth incorrectly shown as 1894. With him are his wife Daisy Yeo and his son John Yeo (1923–2009).
3. David died in France while serving in the Welsh Regiment. He is buried at Vis-en-Artois Cemetery.
