Isaac Yeo (1829–1914, son of Isaac Yeo and Ann Harvey) was a sawyer, as the marriage record from the parish church of St Andrew shows. He was 27 years old, previously unmarried, and living at 7 Bath Cottages.
Eliza was a 32-year-old widow living at 9 Railway Cottages. She had been baptised in the Plymouth parish of Charles the Martyr in 1823 as Eliza Allin Karr [note 1] and had married Luke John Jink Jemhenson [note 2] in Plymouth in 1845.
