The marriages register for the Church of England parish church of All Saints at Woollahra, New South Wales records the wedding on 20 March 1888 of Ernest Macartney de Burgh and Constance Mary Yeo. They had both been born in Dublin and were both previously unmarried. A notice of the wedding appeared in the Sydney Mail on 14 April.
Constance Mary Yeo (1859–1951) was the eldest – and only surviving – daughter of Thomas Frederick Yeo and Matilda Douglas, whose other children were:
– Robert Frederick Yeo (1853–1936, married Alice Elizabeth Sich)
– Edward Arthur Yeo (1855–1856)
– Charlotte Emily Yeo (1861–1864)
– Matilda Douglas Yeo (1866–1868).
