Thomas Atyeo married Jane Pearce in Somerset in 1850. They had seven children:

– Mary Elizabeth Atyeo (1853–1921, married Noah Boobyear, died in the United States)
– Charles Atyeo (born 1856)
– William John Atyeo (born 1858)
– Frank Atyeo (born 1864)
– Emily Atyeo (1868–1927, married Samuel Barnard Bartlett)
– Henry Atyeo (born 1869).
James Francis Atyeo (1851–1933, son of Thomas Atyeo and Jane Pearce) married Elizabeth Fox in 1882. They lived at Middlezoy, where their eleven children were born:
– Emily Jane Atyeo (1884–1944, married Joseph Henry Blackmore)
– Charlie Atyeo (1884–1956, married Caroline Bawden)
– Frank Atyeo (1884–1913, married Alice Mary Foster)
– Harry Atyeo (see below)
– Elizabeth Atyeo (born 1889)
– Rose Patience Atyeo (born 1891, emigrated to Ontario, married George Trunks)
– Bertie James Atyeo (1893–1968, married Elizabeth Jane Blackmore, daughter Eva Annie Mary Atyeo, 1916–1938)
– Florence Atyeo (1894–1967, married Tom Gillard)
– Hannah Martifie Atyeo (1896–1918)
– Ida Atyeo (1897–1989, married William George Horwood)
– Arthur Thomas Atyeo (1898–1967, married Gladys Hucker).
Harry Atyeo (1887–1976, son of James Francis Atyeo and Elizabeth Fox) married Ethel Selway. They lived at Westonzoyland and had six children, including:
– Irene May Atyeo (born 1922, married Basil Frederick Marchant)
– Robert Allen Atyeo (1925–2013, married Mary Doreen Clarke, one son).
