John Thomas Yeo (1841–1908, son of John Yeo and Emma Allamby) was a Londoner, who married three times. He had eight children with his first wife Amelia Cooper [note 1]:
– Amelia Emma Yeo (1862–1917, married Thomas Aloysius Howard)
– Edward Yeo (1862–1864)
– John Thomas Yeo
– William Yeo (1865–1938) [note 2]
– Ellen Yeo (born 1867)
– Elizabeth Yeo (1868–1868)
– Emily Yeo (1870–1870)
– George Yeo (see below).
John’s wife Amelia died in 1876; he subsequently married Mary Ann Barham née Tomlinson. No children are recorded from this marriage.
George Yeo (1874–1918, son of John Thomas Yeo and Amelia Cooper) married Emma Martha Middleton. They had twelve children, including:
– George Henry Yeo (1898–1972, married Alice Grace Webb)
– John Yeo (1899–1965, married Mary Ann Rolf)
– Jessie Alice Yeo (1903–1969, married Charles Edward Street)
– Robert Yeo (1907–1984, married Alice Durant)
– Rose Edith Yeo (1910–1990, married John James Pearce)
– James Yeo (1912–2004, married Elizabeth Catherine Curwood)
– Florence May Yeo (1914–1990, married William Blades)

1. The 1871 census records the family at 35 Nelson Street in the Whitechapel area of east London. John is a 30-year-old carman, his wife Amelia is 32 and their children Amelia (age 9), John (7), William (6) and Ellen (1) are also listed in the household.
2. According to a draft pedigree by Sheila Yeo, William married Elizabeth Harris. Confirmation of this marriage is needed.
