John Thomas Yeo and Amelia Cooper

John Thomas Yeo (1841–1908) was a Londoner, a son of John Yeo and Emma Allamby and a grandson of Robert Yeo and Elizabeth Westaway.

John married Amelia Cooper in 1861. Their five children were born in Bermondsey:
– Amelia Emma Yeo (1862–1917, married Thomas Howard)
– John or John Thomas Yeo (1863–1925, married Eliza Wiffin and Mary Ann Harmer) [notes 1, 2]
– William Yeo (see below)
– Ellen Yeo (1870–1873)
– George Yeo (1874–1918, married Emma Middleton, six children).
The 1871 census records the family at 35 Nelson Street in the Whitechapel area of east London. John is a 30-year-old carman, his wife Amelia is 32 and their children Amelia (age 9), John (7), William (6) and Ellen (1) are also in the household.

John’s wife Amelia died in 1876. He married Mary Ann Balham née Tomlinson in 1885.

William Yeo (1865–1938, son of John Thomas Yeo and Amelia Cooper) married Elizabeth Harris according to a draft pedigree by Sheila. Confirmation of this marriage is needed.
