John Cole farmed at Derriton in the parish of Pyworthy.
Grace Yeo, the eldest daughter of Benjamin Yeo and Mary Wade, was baptised at Bradworthy in 1800. She died in 1879.
John and Grace couple married at Bradworthy in 1820. They emigrated to Ontario with their two eldest children and had three more later, including Benjamin Yeo Cole, who died as a child.
