This couple married at St Marychurch in 1760. William’s birthplace and parents are unclear, despite detailed research in the past [note 1]. William had previously married Mary Reyland in the same parish in 1754; this marriage had produced a daughter Mary Yeo [note 2].
William Yeo and Mary Weymouth baptised five children at St Marychurch:
– Elizabeth Yeo (baptised c1761)
– Rebecca Yeo (baptised 1763)
– John Yeo (1768–1836, possible wife Mary)
– James Yeo (1770–1833, married Hanna Saunders)
– George Yeo (see below).
George Yeo (1773–1862, son of William Yeo and Mary Weymouth) married Mary Sharland. They had three sons:
– George Yeo (see George Yeo and Elizabeth Fletcher)
– John Yeo (baptised 1815 at Combeinteignhead [note 3], married Mary Ann Warren, five children including Martha Mary Yeo [note 4])
– William Yeo (1816–1862, died in the United States).

Notes
1. Sheila suggested that William’s parents were William Yeo and Mary Ralfe, but Mike Darch and David Yaw – in their pedigree Descendants of William Yeo and Agnes Savery – have suggested that William was baptised at St Stephens by Saltash in 1736 to parents William and Gartrude Yeo.
2. Born c1755, nothing further known.
3. No death has been found for John, but Mary is shown as a widow in the 1881 census. Sheila believed that he died in the United States.
4. 1846–1924, married Samuel Blatchford.
