William Thomas Reuben Atyeo and Beatrice Alice Cook

The 1939 Register for Keinton Mandeville records 52-year-old bricklayer William Thomas Reuben Atyeo living at Rocklee House in the centre of this Somerset village. Listed with him are his wife Beatrice and three other people, including his daughter Margaret and his son Basil.

William Thomas Reuben Atyeo (1887–1966) was the third of five children of Reuben Atyeo and Ellen Jane Whitehead. He married Beatrice Alice Cook in 1911 and the births of their seven children were registered at Langport:

– Ellis S. Atyeo (1930–2023, married twice).
