Richard Yeo was baptised at Merton 1786 to parents Robert Yeo and Susanna Down. He married Susanna Pilliphant at Merton in 1810; they had eleven children, including:

– Jane Yeo (see Edward Sanders Welsh and Jane Yeo)
– Eliza Yeo (1833–1907, married William Fowler).
Robert Yeo (1815–1889, son of Richard Yeo and Susanna Pilliphant) married Mary Ann Fulford and emigrated with her to Canada. Their seven children were born in Prince Edward Island:
– William Yeo (1843–1918, married Jane Brundage, two children)
– Thomas Yeo (1848–1928, married Mary Elizabeth Hosford, three children)
– Frank Yeo (1848–1920, married Mary Ann Carmault, four children)
– James Yeo (see below)
– Robert Yeo (see below)
– Louisa Yeo (1854–1930, married Nelson Hosford)
– John Yeo (1857–1929, married Annie Sellor, died in New Brunswick).
William Yeo (1819–1903, son of Richard Yeo and Susanna Pilliphant) was baptised at St Giles in the Wood. He married Ann Williams at Alwington in 1846; Sheila Yeo recorded their six children:
– Elizabeth Yeo (born c1848)
– Mary Ann Yeo (born 1850)
– Sarah Jane Yeo (born c1855)
– William Yeo (born c1855)
– Susanne Yeo (born c1856)
– Richard Yeo (see below).
Robert Yeo (1852–1921, son of Robert Yeo and Mary Ann Fulford) married Orentha Pridham. Their ten children were born in Prince Edward Island:
– Charles Edward Pridham Yeo (1880–1956, married Ethel Penelope McNeill in Boston in 1910, two daughters)
– William Atlee Yeo (1881–1881)
– Elizabeth Abelena Yeo (1883–1972, married Colin Campbell Rix)
– Daniel Preston Tuplin Yeo (1885–1959, married Annie Bruce, four children, died in Massachusetts)
– William Colwill Yeo (1887–1972, married Annie Sanderson, three children, died in Massachusetts)
– Ruby Hannah Yeo (1890–1970, married Robert George Thurlow)
– Eliza Campbell Gordon Yeo (1891–1983, married John Alexander MacLeod, died in Massachusetts)
– George Earl Yeo (1892–1955, married Mary Livingstone, five children)
– Harry Secord Yeo (1895–1973, married Gladys Josephine Corbett, four sons)
– Sampson Robert Yeo (1896–1954, married Bertha Coburn, four children).
Richard Yeo (1858–1939, son of William Yeo and Ann Williams) was born at Monkleigh. He had three children with his wife Ellen Jane Ellis:
– Richard Herbert Yeo (1881–1956, married Lucy Emma Featherstone, two children [note 1])
– Ethel Yeo (1883–1961, married Reginald Radclift)
– Nellie Yeo (1885–1918).
James Yeo (1850–1930, son of Robert Yeo and Mary Ann Fulford) remained in Prince Edward Island, where he married Mary Ann Chisholm. They had nine children, including:
– Horatio Nelson Yeo (1880–1906, died in the United States)
– Frank Wentworth Yeo (see below)
– Robert Charles Mackenzie Yeo (1888–1979, married Etta Blanche Acorn, six children).
Frank Wentworth Yeo (1880–1977, son of James Yeo and Mary Ann Chisholm) married Susan Augusta Gibbs [note 2]). They had three children:
– Wentworth Arthur Yeo (1910–1979, married Zena Frances Barbour, two daughters)
– Mabel Helen Pearl Yeo (1912–1969, married Thomas Harrison)
– Georgia Annie Yeo (1928–1937).
