John Yeo was baptised at Lyneham in 1818, the second of four children of Joseph Yeo and Susanna Burchell. He married Mary Ann Berriman in 1856; they had three children:
– Daniel Joseph Yeo (see below)
– Mary Jane Yeo (1862–1960, married Daniel Allen Rodway)
– George Henry Yeo (1864–1930, married Fanny Yeoman, son Edward James Yeo born 1902).
Daniel Joseph Yeo (1859–1935, son of John Yeo and Mary Ann Berriman) married Elizabeth Jeffries Sparrow in 1879. They had six children:
– William John Berriman Yeo (1880–1944, married Agnes Althea Clary, four children)
– Mary Maria Elizabeth Yeo (1881–1967, married John Hebert Llewellyn)
– Frederick James Yeo (1882–1937, married Sybil Annie Stride, four children)
– Sydney Yeo (1883–1982, married Blanche Ellen Ginn, daughter Blanche Edith Jeffrys Yeo born 1915)
– Ethel Louisa Yeo (1885–1948, married Edwin Page Vince)
– Barbara Yeo (1887–1971, married Oscar Leopold Spiller).
