This couple married at Dawlish in 1839 and had only one child, Eliza. James was farming at Oakford, Kingsteignton in 1841 but appears to have died before the 1851 census was taken.
James had six brothers and sisters – he was descended from Bartholomew Yeo and Zenobia Halse of Beaford.
