An unidentified George Christopher Yeo, who is rather improbably recorded in the passenger list as Scottish, sailed from Liverpool to New York on the SS Celtic, arriving at Ellis Island on 16 August 1903. He could be the George Christopher Yeo (1852–1940) who married Emma Mary Perry in 1884, in which case he will subsequently have returned to England.
George is also recorded as a passenger sailing from Hamburg to Grimsby on the SS Cairo in July 1921 [note 1].

1. George’s date of birth is given accurately and his occupation is recorded as manufacturer. The 1939 Register for Cheltenham records him as a retired linen manufacturer.
