Thomas is recorded as a 48-year-old foreman carpenter born in Lambeth, Surrey. His wife Emma is a 44-year-old nurse born in Cadoxton, Glamorganshire (a district of Barry). Listed with them are eight children: May (age 24), Annie T. (21), Ada L. (19), Leon A. (17), John J. (13) Ernest (9), Gladys G. (8) and Percy C. (7).
Thomas Yeo (1852–1916, son of Thomas Yeo and Ann Thatcher [note 1]) had married Emma Evans in 1876. They had ten children:

– Ann Thatcher Yeo (1880–1974, married John Cawker)
– Ada Lilian Yeo (1882–1945, married Herbert Garfield Daniel)

– Ernest Yeo (1890–1961)
– Gladys Gwendoline Yeo (1892–1973, married William Albert Curtis)
– Percival Clifford Yeo.

1. Previous research by Sheila identified Thomas’s parents as Thomas Yeo (1823–1901) and Ann Jones, but the use of Thatcher as a second forename for his daughter Ann suggests that Thatcher is correct.
