Robert Yeo was baptised at Tetcott, near Holsworthy in 1697 to parents Thomas Yeo and Mary Cullacote. His father Thomas Yeo was a grandson of John Yeo and Frances Holman.
Robert married Joan Norris by licence in 1743; their only child John Yeo was born later that year. Robert died in 1764 at the age of 47.
Robert’s brother Abraham Yeo (1708–1749) marred Susanna Batten at Tetcott in 1739 and had five children:
– William Yeo (1739–1740)
– Mary Yeo (born 1741, married Robert Martin)
– William Yeo (born 1743)
– John Yeo (1745–1817, married Elizabeth Philp)
– Thomas Yeo (see Thomas Yeo and Elizabeth Hill)
