The 1910 census for Sierra Alta, West Virginia records Edwin Harley Yeo, the 30-year-old manager of a sand plant. Listed with him are his wife Ruth (also 30) and their son Edwin Harley Yeo junior (age 2).
Edwin Harley Yeo was born in Elkton, Ohio in 1880 to parents William and Mary Yeo. He married Ruth May Houston in Ohio in 1903. Their only son Edwin Harley Yeo (1907–1995) was born in Dunbar, Pennsylvania and later married Virginia Blevins.
English-born William Yeo [note 1] married Mary Watt about 1875 and died in 1927. In addition to Edwin, they had a son Herbert Watt Yeo (1877–1954), who married Lodalee Patton. There is no record of Herbert and Lodalee having any children.

1. Can anyone identify William? His headstone gives his year of birth as 1851 but this might not be exact. Fourteen boys called William Yeo were born in England between 1850 and 1852 – seven in Devon, three in Cornwall, one in Wiltshire and three in London. Of these fourteen, six who died in England can be identified, leaving eight possible candidates for the William Yeo who emigrated to the United States before marrying Mary Watt.
