Wolston Yeo, a cooper who lived in the parish of St Saviour, Southwark, married Sarah Collier at the parish church of St Andrew by the Wardrobe in 1659. This church in Queen Victoria Street, not far from the Tower of London, was destroyed in the Great Fire of London in 1666 and re-built by Sir Christopher Wren in 1695.
Wolston Yeo died in 1673 and was buried inside the parish church of St Benet Paul’s Wharf. His will, proved the following month, makes bequests to his sister Mary Holbrough and other members of her family.
