Richard Fletcher Yeo died in 1913 and was buried at the municipal cemetery in Torquay. The cemetery records show his address as 2 Beavis Terrace, Sidmouth, which is a good match for his death registration at Honiton. However, his probate record describes him as a retired builder of Dalegarth, Torquay [note 1]. Richard’s will was proved at Exeter by his sons Albert Winsor Yeo, Richard Louis Yeo and Frank Churchward Yeo [note 2].
Richard was the third of six sons of George Yeo and Elizabeth Fletcher. He married Matilda Churchward in 1865 and they spent a few years living in the United States, where three of their seven children were born. They returned to England, where Matilda died in 1907. Richard later married Ellen Furneaux Heath (née Watson).

Notes
1. This appears to be an anomaly – if Richard was living or staying in Torquay when he died, his death should have been registered at Newton Abbot.
2. For Richard’s sons see Descendants of William Yeo and Agnes Savery.
